We have an exceptional 3 hour training session AODA Customer Service Workshop that we will deliver on-site at your location.  This session is also available in 1 or 2 hour informational sessions suitable for lunch and learns.

In this highly interactive and engaging workshop you’ll gain knowledge about AODA legislation and the skills necessary to provide exceptional customer service to persons with disabilities.

 

Who should attend:  Employees, team leads, and department managers.

 

What you’ll learn:

  • What is AODA, specifically the Customer Service Standard.
  • What does disability mean?  Understand disabilities and how to recognize and communicate with customers with disabilities.
  • What are the five barriers that prevent persons with disabilities from fully participating in society and from accessing your goods and services?

 

The 3-hour session is recommended for employees who regularly interact or provide goods and services to customers. If a core competency for your employees is customer service, then the 3-hour session is best suited to them.  The 1 to 2 hour session is recommended for employees with less customer service responsibilities and is informational in focus; all the same information is covered but in less detail.
